• Contra Costa Avian Society: Pet bird club based in, but not restricted to, Contra Costa County, California
• Gabriel Foundation: National organization dedicated to the improvement of bird keeping practices including behavioral enrichment. They regularly promote the education of veterinarians in proper bird handling and behavior assessment by supporting laboratories at veterinary conferences around the country.
