Elisabeth Szabo, Lab Technician

Elizabeth has been employed with the Medical Center for Birds since January 2003. She is our hematologist with a keen eye for bird blood and painstakingly analyzes all of our blood films. Elisabeth is Hungarian and has earned her education in hematology in Romania and Hungary. She worked for 15 years at a children's hospital in Romania and for 3 years at a sanatorium in Hungary. Elisabeth's background of 10 years is working in hormone-assay research and development. She enjoys hematology and also likes to spend time with family, dance, go to movies, and appreciates friends with a good sense of humor.
